Actually the Mutual Fund Industry in Nigeria is very large and vibrant. It's more of a private sector initiative aimed at encouraging Nigerian investors to invest in money market securities within the economy. So far returns on investment has been attractive, with some funds recording 14% - 44% annually. Most of my investments are within the Nigerian Stock market and money market securities.
