Hi there! I saw your feature on Jenny”s sight but what caught my interest is the fact that you”re also Nigerian!

I started caring for my hair last October when I stumbled upon Jenny”s blog but unlike you, I didnt have access to foreign products and I had to do a lot of experimenting to find some alternatives over here (oh the wasted money :-/). It took me a while to get a stable regimen. Right now, I use the Creme of Nature Shampoo product line. It contains sulphates but suprisingly it leaves my hair really soft! I deep condition with ORS Conditioner. I like to prepoo with a mix of castor oil, olive oil and sunflower oil. Ever since I started using sunflower oil my hair stopped breaking completely. I havnt found a moisturiser yet so I use my own mix of water and glycerin, although recently I found a store selling the Kids Organics Detangler and the Kids Organics Moisturiser. The reviews online seem promising so Ill be purchasing them soon to try them out. (wish me luck!)
Lol, I must have written an essay over here. Im just excited to find someone else from my country that is conscious of healthy hair practices. Good luck on your journey!

Yeah, I understand the feeling. I used to think I was the only one on this hair journey thingy till I stumbled across other hair bloggers within Africa. It’s good to know we are a thriving community and getting the knowledge out there. So whether you’re natural or relaxed, you have information at your finger tips. Yay!!! Empathize with you on the money you spent in searching for the right products. Wish you luck on your journey.

You’re welcome! And I know you’ll love it, it contains ceramides.
And sorry about the double post earlier, I have no idea how to delete it! >.<

And I’ll be looking forward to that review, would like to see how it compares to grapeseed oil.
